Biodegradable


“I also saw you eat your lunch,
You left your trash on the bench to rot.
If it were biodegradable it would wear away,
But some of it simply was not.”

“For instance the juice box that held your drink
Would take a long time to decay,
Whereas the apple core you left on the bench,
Will be gone in a couple of days.”

“Please remember not everything is biodegradable,
And we can choose what we buy.
Choosing food and toys with less packaging
Will keep the landfills from reaching the sky.”

“Always put trash in it’s proper place,
As a dirty world is one of my greatest fears.
If we can’t get together and lend a hand,
The world will be dirty for years.”
