Pollution


We walked until we hit a beach,
That seemed to be quite a mess.
With everything from bottles to tires,
Even an old baby doll dress.

Irv said, “Think about the sea life,
Pollution is not just here on this shore.
It becomes their toys when it floats out to sea,
And that leads to them ending up sore.”

“For example, a dolphin plays with a plastic cup,
And it gets caught around his nose.
I once saw a giant octopus, 
With seven legs stuck in a hose.”

“Remember that everything in the world,
Has been given a certain spot.
By putting garbage in it’s proper place,
You are fighting pollution a lot.”
